The Muslim Foundation for Youth and Children (MFYC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting the development of youth and children. Our Story In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, our communities were left reeling from the devastating loss of life and livelihood. Among the most vulnerable affected were children and youth, many of whom lost parents or became young guardians to their siblings. This unprecedented crisis exposed a critical gap in support services for these young individuals, leaving them without adequate care, guidance, and resources to navigate their uncertain futures. In response to this pressing need, the Muslim Foundation for Youth and Children (MFYC) was established in 2021 to provide a safety net of support, empowerment, and hope for these young lives, ensuring they receive the necessary tools to thrive and reach their full potential.
Empowering young people to reach their full potential, fostering a sense of belonging, and promoting positive contributions to society.
